Welcome to our little piece of heaven in the smoky mountains. The home was custom built in the fall of 2017. Our first guest in the new home was 11/18/17. I know how important reviews are when trying to decide where to stay for a vacation home. I have kept the same house keeper as long as I have had this property, and as you can see from the previous reviews she does a great job. Our home is located on what the locals call the spur. It sits between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. From the main road running between the two towns take Wiley Oakley Road, which is the road that runs up the mountain beside the Gatlinburg Welcome center. We are only a 1/2 mile from the welcome center. This road is well maintained during the winter so you don't have to worry about getting up or down the road. During the spring, summer and fall and winter you can drive down to the welcome center and take the trolley to Gatlinburg and it will bring you back to the welcome center. The fee is $0.50 person per trip and is well worth it so you don't have to drive around town for 30 minutes trying to find a parking spot. The home sits in a great location with fantastic mountain views from either of the three decks of our home. This home is very comfortable with 1 King size bedroom and 1 queen size bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room. There are 2 full bathrooms, both with a tiled shower / tub and granite vanity tops. The second floor deck is a nice size and has plenty of seating with gorgeous views of the mountains. On the first floor you have the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, queen size bedroom & full bathroom with tiled tub/shower and granite vanity top. The Kitchen has everything you need and also has granite counter tops. The kitchen is fully stocked to make a meal in, and it has all stainless steel appliances that were brand new in the fall of 2017 including a dishwasher so you don't have to wash all those dishes while you are on vacation. The living room has cathedral wood ceilings, large ceiling fan, fireplace, flat screen 50" 4k smart TV, DVD player, leather sofa with pull out queen bed and a leather chair. Off the living room is a spacious deck (all three deck floors are composite decking so there is no worry of splinters when walking in your bare feet) with a 4 person hot tub, high top patio table with 4 chairs so the deck railing does not impede your view and char coal grill. Both bedrooms have 32" HD smart TV's, ceiling fans, dresser, closet and luggage rack. All the beds have bed protectors to ensure the ultimate cleanliness. For the kids and adults there is a Air Hockey table for your enjoyment. All the floors in the home are hard wood floors, except in the bathrooms which they are tiled. A few things we did with this cabin to help it be as safe as possible for us and you the guest is that we installed a motion detecting light so if you have to go out to your car in the evening you won't be startled by a bear standing next to your car or even on the deck (it's always a good idea to look out the window before going out just in case there is a bear on the deck or in the driveway). The second thing we did to this cabin was not make the main deck accessible to ground level. We know it is a little inconvenient, but we feel it is well worth the inconvenience. When you are out on the deck enjoying yourself, you don't have to worry about a bear standing next to you when you turn around. The peace of mind that all your family members and friends can be safe out on the deck and you don't have to worry about things like that happening is very soothing.

We want to make it as easy as possible to come to our home. We provide all your towels, wash cloths, bath hand towels, kitchen drying towels, dish cloths, sheets, pillows & comforters. We also provide high efficiency wash and dryer. Lastly we stock the home with a starter pack of bars of soap for each of the bathrooms, a washing machine soap packet, dishwasher packet, a roll of paper towels, a trash bag and a roll of toilet tissue for each bathroom. We also provide a large array of Television channels, high speed wireless internet and unlimited phone calls to the USA lower 48 states and Canada at no charge. Pay per view and movies rentals from cable are not permitted, however with the free wifi and all the TV's being smart TV's feel free to use your Netflix or any other TV device.

Included in your stay is the Chalet Village owners club access. The closest one is only a 2 minute drive from our home. The owner club has 2 swimming pools, a kiddie pool, fitness room, table tennis, vending machines, playground for the kids as well as a lighted tennis court. The tennis court also has a basketball hoop. All the amenities at the Owners club are included in your stay at absolutely no charge to you the guest, but are only open memorial day through labor day.

We feel it is very important to provide each guest with a clean home when you enter. I will personally call each guest upon their arrival to make sure they are completely satisfied with the cleaning of the home, confirm that all the pictures you see on this site is what you see when you walk into the home and make sure there are no problems. I have done this with my condo I have in Myrtle Beach (vrbo # 487318) and I feel this ensures that each guest is completely satisfied when they arrive. If you are not satisfied for some reason we will work on any issue to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

There is NO SMOKING allowed in the home! No pets in the home as well. No exceptions.
