Smoky Mountain Winery Locations

Red wine and wine glass on wooden barrelWe have compiled a complete list of Smoky Mountain Winery Locations that you can visit in Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Each Smoky Mountain Winery offers its own unique flavor and focus for its wines so each one that you visit will vary in the wine tasting experience and options available. If you are a wine connoisseur and know that you like a particular type of wine or are just sampling to see if you would like wine there is enough variance you should not judge one Smoky Mountain Winery based on an experience at another. While there are many differences in the wines at the different locations the similarity between them is that they each use a majority of grapes and fruits from local Tennessee sources. You will find red, white, and sparkling wines in dry and sweet varieties to select from; the local favorites tend to be concentrated in the sweet selections. If you have someone with you that is not a wine connoisseur each Smoky Mountain Winery also offers locally made candies, cheeses and crafts to enjoy.

Six Smoky Mountain Winery Locations have teamed together to form the Rocky Top Wine Trail a wine club that gives its members benefits for visiting the different wineries in person. The wine club also gives members access to discounted monthly wine shipments from their variety of participants. Trying wines from each of the participants of the wine trail will give you a full experience of the possibilities from local Tennessee grapes and fruits.

Smoky Mountain Winery

Located near the very end of the Parkway in Gatlinburg at the base of the Smoky Mountains you will find one of several opportunities to visit a Smoky Mountain Winery, Sugar Land Cellars. In this picturesque setting grapes and fruits mostly from local sources are brought in and processed on site to give you a unique taste of Smoky Mountain flavor. You will find red and white wines from dry to sweet and bubbly varieties available with the majority falling into the locally popular sweet category.

While in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville areas you are likely to see more than one Smoky Mountain Winery with a total of seven. Many of the different Smoky Mountain Winery locations work together to bring you a complete experience by encouraging you to visit several because each one has its own unique focus for the type of wines that are created and sold. Even though they work well together in encouraging you to have a more complete wine experience you will need to visit them each individually to be able to experience the differences in the types of wines because there is not a site that you can try or purchase them together.

A visit to a Smoky Mountain Winery such as Sugar Land Cellars will give you an opportunity to tour the facility where the wine is made, have a free wine tasting, and purchase wines to enjoy while you are in the area or take with you to share with friends and family.

Join Visit My Smokies for an Insider’s View of a Smoky Mountain Winery where we meet JB Ball the GM of Operations at Sugar Land Cellars and a local wine maker.
