Western Event in Pigeon Forge Celebrates Cowboy Lifestyle

Cowboy hat, cowboy boots, lasso, and horse shoeFor lovers of black hats, white horses and all things Old-West, there’s no better place to see a full round-up of cowboy entertainment and activities than the Saddle Up event in Pigeon Forge. Running from February 19 to 23, the 14th annual event is planned to be bigger than ever. Visit My Smokies has the full schedule, locations and pricing, so you can be prepared for an inside view of what life was like for early Western Americans.

Saddle Up is known to bring legendary historians and musicians together to educate and entertain, and this year is no different. Entertainment ranges from humorists to musicians. Included in the performance schedule this year are Red Steagall, Ray Doyle, Brenda Gail, Andy Nelson, Joyce Woodson and Don Edwards.

Most of the event’s activities are to be held at the brand new LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge.  Admission to all the presentations and workshops is free, but a few of the meals and concerts include a cost. Events that charge admission or are located outside the Leconte Center are indicated in the full schedule below.
