National Historical Treasure Found in Downtown Gatlinburg

Theater stage with lights and wooden floorAre you looking for something out of the ordinary for your Gatlinburg vacation? Different from the other shows in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is a theatrical company that offers a unique, two-hour, 1890s-style musical production. Currently operating in its 37th year, the show performs completely original content. The Gatlinburg attraction is perfect for people of all ages.

Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre opened its doors 1977, and has been entertaining audiences with hilarious musical comedies since opening day. When you walk in the doors of the theatre, you will understand why it was declared a ‘National Historical Treasure’ by the City of Gatlinburg. Immediately, visitors will step into a Victorian-style Music Hall, just like those found in the late 1890s. Since its opening, over 30 original performances have made their premier at the theatre, and some have moved on to larger stages in areas like Las Vegas and Atlantic City!

One of the great things about this theatre is that shows alternate throughout the week. So, if you really enjoy your first show, you can make plans to see a different show the next night! The shows at the theatre also change with the season, so returning visitors can enjoy a different show every time they arrive in the Smoky Mountains!

The Gatlinburg attraction is located at 461 Parkway, at traffic light #3. Seats fill quickly, so make sure to purchase your tickets in advance!
