1. Gatlinburg’s New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks Show
The City of Gatlinburg will be hosting its annual Ball Drop and Fireworks Show at the intersection of Parkway and Historic Nature Trail. When the clock strikes midnight, the illuminated ball will descend, and the fireworks show will begin. Almost 50,000 people are expected to attend this event, so we recommend arriving early!
2. Country Tonite’s Special Show
For family-oriented things to do in Pigeon Forge on New Year’s Eve, Country Tonite will be having a show and celebration beginning at 9:45 p.m. on December 31. This two-hour holiday show will include noisemakers, party favors, and nonalcoholic toasts at midnight.
3. New Year’s Eve at The Island in Pigeon Forge
Enjoy island time at The Island’s New Year’s Eve celebration. This free event will feature live music, face painting, kids’ activities, a countdown to midnight, and spectacular fireworks. Riding the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, The Island’s 200-foot tall Ferris wheel, is the perfect way to ring in the new year!
