Where to Find Santa Claus in the Smoky Mountains at Christmas

Here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus lane! Santa Claus made his way from the North Pole all the way to the Smoky Mountains this Christmas. At Visit My Smokies, we know the holidays wouldn’t be the same without Jolly Old Saint Nicholas spreading Christmas cheer and giving presents to all the good boys and girls. That’s why we’ve put together a list of places where you can find Santa Claus in the Smoky Mountains at Christmas.

1. Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland in Sevierville

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland in Sevierville is an incredible holiday experience for everyone! Guests will see dozens of visual light displays that are synced to music they can listen to in their cars. From Nov. 15 – Dec. 23, Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland’s visitors get free admission into Santa’s Village, where families can enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides and stop to get some hot chocolate or a snack at one of several food vendors! But most importantly, guests will get to meet Santa Claus and take pictures with him! It’s a magical experience that’s fun for the whole family.

Not only does Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas have beautiful Christmas lights and entertaining Christmas performances, it also has Santa Land! Children will love being able to visit Santa Land at Dollywood. Guests will be able to step into the middle of all the excitement and watch as Santa and the elves get ready for Christmas. They’ll be able to make fun Christmas crafts and play with life-sized toys before getting to visit with Santa Claus! Santa Land is open from Nov. 9 to Dec. 23.

3. Santa’s Claus-et

Santa’s Claus-et is the perfect destination for all-things-Christmas. You’ll find foods to sample, such as fruit spreads and jams, to a variety of toys and plenty of Christmas-related products at Gatlinburg’s largest Christmas store! Find out if you’ve been naughty or nice this year when you find Santa walking around the shop! Kids will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and get a photo, while parents shop around the store for last-minute Christmas gifts.

4. The Island in Pigeon Forge

It’s decorated with more than 23 acres of beautiful Christmas lights and a 35-foot tall Christmas tree. Throughout the month of December, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be special guests at The Island. Children can visit Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus in their workshop for a meet and greet and photo opportunities! Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be available on Dec. 7, 14, 20 and 21 to make all the children’s Christmas dreams come true!
