The Smoky Mountain area is known for having a rich and artistic history. Quilting dates back to the very first settlers who made their way to the Smokies, and today, the art of quilting is preserved at the Pigeon Forge Quiltfest event, A Mountain Quiltfest.
Each March, quilters and quilting enthusiasts come together to celebrate and admire the art. Here’s what you need to know:
Pigeon Forge Quiltfest, A Mountain Quiltfest, is located at the LeConte Center.
The LeConte Center will be set up for A Mountain Quiltfest, featuring over 50 booths of vendors. You’ll be able to walk around, shop and purchase all kinds of things for quilting. Of course, there will be quilts for sale at the event, too!
