Unlike the other light displays found throughout the area for the Smoky Mountain Winterfest, Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland features dozens of visual displays that are synced to music that you can listen to in your car.
According to organizers for the winter Smoky Mountain event, there are over 1,600 individual and unique channels that are programmed to work together to produce the stunning show, all in hopes of inspiring the holiday spirit for all who visit.

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland in Sevierville is going on now through January 8, 2017. Hours are rain or shine from dusk to 10 p.m., including holidays.
In addition to the brilliant light show, guests to Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland in Sevierville will have the chance to also explore the many fun things to do at Santa’s Workshop.
Perfect for families with children, this is where guests will find interactive activities, live animals, and, of course, Santa Claus! Not to mention, there is also a refreshment stand found here in case you get a little hungry or need a coffee or hot chocolate to warm up.
- There’s a petting zoo that is free to visit and only $2 to feed the animals.
- Pony rides are $5.
- DIY souvenir stations for children’s crafts every Saturday through December 17.
- Christmas movies on the big screen starting at 6:30 p.m. every Saturday through December 17.
- Pictures with Santa at Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland in Sevierville happen through December 23.

Another thing that makes Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland different from other winter attractions in the Smoky Mountains is how they have structured their admission prices. Unlike other events and attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Shadrack’s charges guests per vehicle instead of per person.
Cost to explore the 2014 Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland are:
- $25 per car or family van
- $40 per van, limo or mini/half bus
- $80 per tour or school bus
Tickets can be purchased directly at the gate. Cash and credit cards are both accepted.
