4 Reasons the Pigeon Forge Convention Center is the Ultimate Smoky Mountain Event Venue

Pigeon Forge, TN is one of the most popular locations for conventions, events, and gatherings in the country! Just a day’s drive from over 2/3rds of the nation’s population, Pigeon Forge is a convenient meeting place for millions of people. With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at its doorstep and a wide variety of world class attractions and shows in town, Pigeon Forge has everything you could possibly want in an event venue.

For large gatherings in the Smokies, you can’t beat the Pigeon Forge Convention Center. Officially known as the LeConte Center, this beautiful building has hosted family reunions, church groups, car shows, concerts, and just about anything else you can think of. Visit My Smokies has put together a guide to what makes the Pigeon Forge Convention Center the ultimate event venue in the area.

1. All the Space You NeedThe entrance to the Pigeon Forge Convention Center.

You will never feel cramped when you attend an event at the Pigeon Forge Convention Center! The entire building is 232,000 sq ft with 100,500 sq ft of exhibit/assembly space in LeConte Hall. The Convention Center offers an uncluttered design with no columns or other obstructions, so there is plenty of wide open space for event planners to make use of.

In addition to LeConte Hall, the Pigeon Forge Convention Center offers additional space in Greenbriar Hall (12,000 sq ft), three North Multi-Purpose Rooms (each 2,000 sq ft), four South Multi-Purpose Rooms (each 1,000 sq ft), and a Boardroom (750 sq ft). For concerts or lectures, the Convention Center can provide seating for up to 12,000 guests.
