Eagerly Awaited LeConte Center To Open in Pigeon Forge

Ray of sunlight shining down on the Smoky Mountains at dawnOpening in September of 2013, the LeConte Center will be a new addition to Pigeon Forge. The  232,000 square foot Leconte Center is owned by the city and is located adjacent to the greenway and Riverwalk. It will be a venue for trade shows and competitive events as well as a meeting place for large assemblies. Set against a mountain background, with the ambiance of a Smoky Mountain Lodge, the LeConte Center is eagerly awaited.

The Building

A 100,500 square foot clear-span exhibit hall, that can be expanded to 112,500 square feet, will highlight the building. Among its multi-purpose rooms are a conference room of 750 square feet, three 2,000 square foot multi-purpose rooms and four 1,000 square foot multi-purpose rooms. Additionally, a multi-purpose hall is featured, with 12,000 square feet.

Additional Features

A spacious lobby welcomes guests, and a concourse and dedicated registration space makes it easy for trade show visitors. A Pre-function space and eight-bay loading dock facilitate its use for business and conferences. Food and beverage services are available, and a trolley service is offered. Parking spaces for 1,600 cars is offered.

Events

Some events that are scheduled for the Center include the International Gift Exposition in the Smokies/Souvenir Super Show, the 24th Annual Wilderness Wildlife Week, the 14th Annual Saddle Up! and the 20th Annual A Mountain Quiltfest.The setting and facilities of the LeConte Center will be enjoyed by many people visiting in the Pigeon Forge area.
