Hot air balloon flying over the sea into the sunsetHave you ever wondered what it’s like to fly in a hot air balloon? Visitors to the Smoky Mountains can take flight and soar into the air at one of the most unique attractions in Pigeon Forge. Since it’s opening in 2012, the Wonders of Flight experience has become a must-visit Pigeon Forge attraction!

Riders will step into a gondola that will accommodate up to 30 passengers for the ride into the air. The helium-filled balloon stretches to 72 feet in diameter, reaching a height of 400 feet in the air. From the sky, riders will experience stunning view of the Smoky Mountains, from the largest blue and green balloon in the mountains!

The Wonders of Flight attraction is located behind WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge at 100 Music Road, and opens daily at 10 a.m. The cost for adults is $15.99 and children are $9.99. If the child is shorter than 36 inches tall, he or she may ride free of charge with an accompanying adult.

The Pigeon Forge attraction is great for large groups and families because each flight can carry up to 30 people. This way, you can enjoy the scenic Smoky Mountains with your friends and family members!

The Wonders of Flight experience is also a great place for a unique Smoky Mountain wedding! You and your soon-to-be spouse can say your vows during a 30-minute ceremony while soaring 400 feet in the air!
