Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Gets a New Name

The next time you visit Pigeon Forge, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede will have a new name.

According to a press release by World Choice Investments LLC, Dixie Stampede has officially changed its name to Dolly Parton’s Stampede.

Why the name change?

World Choice Investments operates dinner show attractions in other areas outside of Pigeon Forge, including Branson, Missouri and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As part of the ongoing expansion of their dinner attractions, they believe the change will “remove any confusion or concerns about our shows and will help our efforts to expand into new cities.”

No details have been released regarding changes to the show for 2018, but it is clear that some changes or updates are taking place.

Right now, the dinner show is closed, but will reopen in a couple of weeks with shows on January 19, 20, 26 and 27. They do operate with fewer shows throughout the winter season, so be sure to check for available show dates and times on their website: https://dpstampede.com/.
