Family Fest in the Smokies : A Southern Gospel Extravaganza

View of downtown GatlinburgFamily Fest in the Smokies is a great setting for family fun and bonding. Held in the heart of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, Family Fest is three days of music and entertainment the whole family will love. It all takes place at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Enjoy gospel music’s most popular artists along with morning worship and concerts in the evenings.

Family Fest is held over Memorial Day Weekend. This makes it a great time for families to come, as kids are off from school and most people get a three day weekend. Gatlinburg has a number of lodging choices for those visiting from out of town. You can even rent an actual log cabin to stay in for that total Smoky Mountain experience!

The three day event begins Friday evening at 7:00pm with the opening concert. Saturday has a special session scheduled at 10:00am and a 6:00pm evening concert. Sunday wraps things up with the 10:00am special session and the closing concert at 6:00pm. A ticket for all three days costs $125 for adults and only $35 for children 12 and under.

During Family Fest, guests will enjoy performances from some of the best southern gospel musicians in the world. In years past, the lineup has included:

  • Bill & Gloria Gaither
  • Gaither Vocal Band
  • The Booth Brothers
  • Charlotte Ritchie
  • Gene McDonald
  • Kevin Williams
  • Karen Peck & New River
  • Russ Tuff
  • The Isaacs
  • Voices of Lee
