Bibliophiles and local history buffs alike, get ready to celebrate the fourth annual Rose Glen Literary Festival taking place Saturday, February 23, 2013. Held at the Sevier campus at Walter State Community College (WSCC) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., this popular festival highlights local authors, books and stories from the Sevierville, Tennessee area. Began as an event for local writers and their readers to be able to meet in person, the festival has expanded to include additional programs for attendees that celebrate the local culture. Come join

The show will highlight the talents of over 40 select alpaca breeders, 60 vendors and hundreds of alpaca enthusiasts who will use the show to raise awareness of the value of alpaca's to society. The show will also offer many attractions that will encourage visitors to learn more details about the alpaca's value to society. Some of the most popular attractions will include a level IV alpaca halter show, an alpaca fiber project circle an alpaca petting zoo and an alpaca fiber arts class. The Athletic Championships are scheduled to be held at the Sevierville Convention Center from March 9th through the 10th of 2013. This cheerleading and dance competition brings in teams from around the country to compete for the winning title and to show off their skills in an amazing, fun-filled setting. The Smoky Mountain Student Bible Conference 2013 is the place to be! This year's conference, themed "Nothing to Lose," provides an excellent opportunity for Christian students to get inspired and to recharge their passion for serving Christ. In attendance will be excellent speakers and top notch entertainment. Speakers include Scott Dawson, David Nasser, Ergun Caner, Brent Crowe, and Tony Nolan. Entertainment and worship leaders include the award-winning David Crowder Band, KJ-52, Kari Jobe, Kristian Stanfill, Matt Papa, Rush of Fools, Bethany Barr Phillips, Brett Younker, and Trip Lee.

The 2013 Knoxville RV Super Show will be held January 11th-13 at the Sevierville Events Center in Sevierville, Tennessee. Sponsored by Island View Casino Resort and Blue Sky RV Insurance, the show will feature the newest models in recreational vehicles as well as travel trailers, toy haulers, motor homes, and fifth wheels. Dec 27-29, 2012 Student Celebrations Connect will be held at the Sevierville Convention Center. What an awesome way to add to your holiday celebrations and finish the year by coming together with others of your age and faith to focus on making your life the best it can be.
