Pigeon Forge, TN is celebrating a major anniversary in 2017! Two hundred years ago, an iron forge was built along the banks of the Little Pigeon River where The Old Mill Square stands today. This iron forge became an iconic part of the city and served as the inspiration for the name “Pigeon Forge”.
